YEAR-ROUND EXPERIENCES

Italian Fashion Experiences, All Year Round

An Italian fashion experience is a private, guided day built around the places where Italian style is made, shown and sold — a stylist-led shopping tour, an atelier visit, a designer outlet trip or a fashion museum day. The Fashion Guide curates four of them across Milan, Florence and Como, available all year and not only during fashion week. Each is private by default, led by an industry expert, and bookable on its own or combined into a longer trip.

Choose a single experience, or combine several into one curated trip. Every option below is private by default.

Personal shopping in Milan

A private stylist guides you through the Quadrilatero della Moda — Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Sant'Andrea and Corso Como — with expert styling advice and access to the city's finest boutiques and hidden ateliers.

Made in Italy atelier visits

Step inside working ateliers to meet the artisans and designers behind Italian craftsmanship — leather in Florence's Santa Croce district, tailoring in Milan and Naples, silk in Como — in private, curated visits.

Luxury outlet tours

Private, chauffeured tours to Italy's premier designer outlets — Serravalle Designer Outlet near Milan and The Mall Firenze in Tuscany — with an expert guide, priority arrangements and no crowds.

Luxury outlet tours

Fashion museum days

Guided days through Italy's great fashion museums — Armani Silos and Fondazione Prada in Milan, Gucci Garden and the Costume Gallery at Palazzo Pitti in Florence — led by an industry expert rather than a general city guide.

Why book with a licensed Italian agency

We are insiders, not a marketplace. Every experience is private, designed around you and run by a single dedicated contact from first enquiry to final day. All of it is arranged and operated by Lasciativiaggiare, a licensed Italian travel agency with an active international clientele — which means the access is real, the booking is protected and there is a company behind the itinerary, not a platform. Our guides are stylists, buyers and industry professionals who know the boutiques, the ateliers and the museums personally.

Where we operate: Milan, Florence, Como and Rome

Our experiences are based in Milan — the Quadrilatero della Moda, Corso Como and the design districts — and in Florence, where the leather workshops of Santa Croce, Via de' Tornabuoni and Palazzo Pitti sit within walking distance of each other. Como adds the silk heritage that has supplied the great houses for generations, and Rome is available on request for Via dei Condotti and the couture ateliers. These are the cities where Italian fashion is actually made, shown and sold.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book a single experience, or only a full package?

Either. You can book one experience for a single afternoon, or combine several across a multi-day trip — for example a personal shopping day in Milan followed by an atelier visit in Florence. We build the itinerary around what you want, and there is no minimum number of experiences.

Are these experiences available during fashion week too?

Yes. Our experiences run all year, including during Milan and Paris Fashion Week, and many travelers add one to a fashion week package — a personal shopping day between shows, or a museum morning before the evening presentations. Availability is tighter during fashion month, so we recommend booking earlier for those dates.

Who leads the experiences?

Expert stylists, buyers and industry guides who know the boutiques, ateliers and museums personally — not generic city guides. For personal shopping you are matched with a stylist; for atelier visits, with someone who has a working relationship with the workshop; for museum days, with a fashion historian or industry professional.

Are the experiences private?

Yes. Every experience is private by default, designed for you or your group alone. There are no shared departures and no fixed groups. Group size is entirely yours, from a solo traveler to a family or a party of friends.

Do the experiences run in English?

Yes. All our experiences are led in English as standard, and Italian, French, Spanish and Arabic can be arranged on request. Our guests come primarily from the United Kingdom, the United States and the Gulf.

Am I expected to buy anything on a personal shopping tour?

No. The stylist's role is to open doors, advise and edit — not to sell. Many guests buy nothing at all and treat the day as an insider tour of the Quadrilatero della Moda. There is no commission pressure and no minimum spend.
